After kick-off festivities travel along Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive for 2.4 miles to Montgomery Drive (left turn). Travel on Montgomery Dr. for .6 miles Make a right onto Belmont Ave. Travel on Belmont Ave. for 1.0 miles. From there a left onto Rt. 23 (Conshohoken Ave.) travel for .4 miles. Take left turn on City Ave. (Rt 1). Travel City Ave. 2.0 miles. That will intersect with E. NOTICE REGARDING PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN THIS SEGMENT Public participation in the segment from the Allegheny Township War Memorial to the Rite Aid Pharmacy is encouraged, however be advised that there will be no escort or traffic control by emergency service providers. Our Route this year will follow the Rt 56 bypass then RT 56 to the Rite Aid Pharamacy at the intersection of Rt 56 and Leechburg Road in Lower Burrell. We must avoid impeding traffic in any way by staying on the road shoulder and in single file where necessary. Participation is AT YOUR OWN RISK.
